For Spectators

The festival “Artkino” gives its spectators a unique opportunity to bear a hand in determination of festival films’ fates. Audience’s voting begins as early as during all the competition screenings in Moscow.

Three leading films by the result of Moscow audience’s voting will make it to the final stage even if they weren’t emphasized by the jury or the institutors.

Participation in the final stage of the festival gives to authors an opportunity to demonstrate their pictures in 50 more cities of Russia and CIS countries as well as get their films collected into deluxe edition DVD containing the best festival films.

The same films make it to the list of pictures which are estimated by Short Film Academy members. They vote for the best movie of the year in professional association’s opinion. It implies these films can go in for Russian National Short Film Award in the category “Best short movie of the year in professional association’s opinion”.

Over the final stage spectators are supposed to become active partners of the festival “Artkino”. The winner of the final stage who is going to be awarded with Russian National Short Film Award in the category the “Best short movie of the year in audience’s opinion” will be determined by the result of audience’s voting.
